We were talking at the dinner table. I was telling Matt about something and used the phrase "put a bug in his ear." Nathan's eyes got wide and exclaimed, "A bug in his ear??!!?

We explained that it is a phrase that means that you give someone something to think about. Nathan thought about it and said, "I have a big bug in my ear, because I can't stop thinking about Bolt!"

Thriller

We were in the van shen Michael Jackson's Thriller came on the radio. We heard the first few seconds, with the creepy sounds and howling, and Nathan pipes up.

"This song should be on Kids Place Live! It sounds fun!"

Forever Young...I mean OLD...I mean...

I was looking through our blog and came to the pictures of my sisters and I standing together at Tami's wedding reception. Alex got all excited when she discovered I was in the picture, and I decided to see how many of her aunt's names she could remember (we don't live near any of them). I started with my sister, Suzie, who is one year younger than me.

I pointed and asked Alex who it was, and she said, "Grandma!" Don't worry Suzie, you don't really look like a grandma!
