Unfortunately, She Speaks the Truth

Today was Crazy Outfit Day at school for the boys. So Alex wanted to join in the fun and insisted on wearing HER shirt backwards. While I was getting dressed, she was trying to convince me to wear mine backwards as well. I'm 9 months pregnant with less than a week until delivery, so this wasn't going to happen. But I didn't expect the conversation to take the turn it did!

Me: I cannot wear my shirt backwards, because my big tummy is in front so it wouldn't fit.

Alex: But your butt is fat.

Me: No, it isn't!

Alex: Yes, it's really fat.

Telling It Like It Is

Scene: Taylor is playing Lego Harry Potter on the Wii, and Nathan and Alex are watching.

Alex: Mom, is Hagrid fat?

Mom: Well, he is a giant.

Alex: He IS fat! He's fat like you!

(In my defense, I am 8 months pregnant!)
