Alex has been getting into a lot of things today. I was getting frustrated with her, and she was with me for stopping all her fun. A few minutes ago I took a roll of double-sided tape away from her, and she held her hand up (in "talk to the hand" fashion), and yelled, "Swiper no swiping! Swiper no swiping! Swiper no swiping!"
I was getting together with some friends this morning after the boys left for school. I mentioned to the boys that I was going to Salt Lake to see some people.
We were reading the story of Abraham and Issac in the Old Testament. We learned about Abram's name being turned to Abraham, and Matt asked if the kids remembered what the Lord changed Jacob's name to.
I used to have staring contests with my sisters. I was pretty good at it until I got contact lenses.
The other day, the boys were playing Disney Scene It, and they ended up having to use a tie-breaker. The instructions said to have a "Stare Down" and the first one who blinks loses.
Matt walked into the room to find both boys walking in circles, eyes wide, looking down at the floor.
